Hi Deb, We do do parties for the younger children all that we do is reduce the number of children per instructor. So while normally we can do upto 5 people per instructor, for children between 8 and 12 we do 3 children per instructor. For children between 6 and 8 we are only prepared to do two children per an instructor. As this insures that they are safe and do not get put of surfing due to a bad experience! Hi Tracy we love doing surf parties for youngster, they are so much fun. For groups with this age children we insist on small groups s would put at least three instructor and possibly four depending on the conditions on the day. We believe in the childrens safety first as it takes just one bad insident to put them of the sea for life. As part of the party package the children get to use the facility for the party including, showers, change rooms, lounge with the flat screen for slide show with the pictures taken during the lesson and the kitchen for the moms. The Surf Shack premises are on the Beach Side of the Railway Line at Surfers Corner in Muizenberg. Surf Shack is the last premises nearest the Railway line.
